One of the most important artifacts in the manufacturing industry is the delivery note which comes in through different suppliers or from long-standing customers. It is a standard document that goes through different departments of the organization for approvals taking up to 2/3 weeks. The client was searching for a faster way to take approvals on these notes.
Through Robotic Process Automation (RPA), we were able to help the client with their lengthy and manual process of delivery note approval. As soon as a delivery note came in from the supplier, it would be scanned, read, and uploaded into the system. This data would then be sent as a reconciliation report to different department people for approvals, and they can sign it off. This process is now completed in under 30 minutes and no errors.
